Rebecca Beschizza

After training at Guy's Hospital, Rebecca has spent six years at Evelina, five of them as a nurse in the intensive care unit.

Her current role as Staff nurse is challenging, working with patients ranging from babies to teenagers, and "helping them to bounce back quickly".  As this was her first trip as part of the mission team, there was a full expectation for even more challenging days. 

Knowing that Sri Lanka did not have the priviliged care of the UK, Rebecca says transferrring her skills to make a difference brought its own rewards
